We are here. But for how long?
I’ve been thinking for a long time how interconnected we are on this tiny little marble. Politicians say the planet is in trouble. No its not. WE ARE THE ONES IN TROUBLE!
The Earth, during the time of the dinosaurs had a global average temperature of roughly 20°C. Right now its about ~14°C (http://data.giss.nasa.gov/gistemp/2007/)
You see, Gaia/Earth whatever doesn’t care one iota what happens to the temperature over the course a few thousand years.
The sooner we see ourselves on this normal little marble in this normal galaxy as we really are, the better off we’ll be.
